The police said that Jahangir, a resident of Ahli Rawana Village, had a property dispute with Muhammad Sarfraz. On the day of incident, accused Jahangir along with his five unknown accomplices entered the home of Sarfraz and opened fire on him. As a result, Sarfraz’s wife Nasreen Bibi was killed on the spot, while his son Muhammad Akram was injured.
Eight killed in separate incidents in Faisalabad
In another incident, rickshaw driver Imtiaz was killed when he suffered bullet injuries during a shootout between two groups at Adda Morr Harnoli. Meanwhile, the police claimed to have arrested 17 drug pushers and seized narcotics and illegal weapons from them.
The police said teams conducted raids within their jurisdictions and arrested 17 suspects. They also confiscated 1,940 grammes of hashish, 68 bottles of liquor, six pistols and other weapons from them.
