QUETTA: Balochistan National Party (BNP) Senior Leader Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani has urged the workers of his party to gear up for July 25 general elections in order to give resistance to the people who “looted and exploited the resources” of Balochistan.

“BNP's prime mission is to get provincial autonomy,” said the BNP leader while addressing a gathering in Quetta.

Balochistan people own its resources, says Akhtar Mengal

Raisani said, “In elections there are two types of people – one who strived to serve Balochistan and the other who looted and exploited the rights of the people of the province."
He urged people to oust “dummy politicians”.

“Our workers must prepare to hold the corrupt politicians accountable on July 25,” he said. "Our forefathers had sacrificed their lives for this precious land. Time has come to carry on their legacy."
The BNP leader termed July 25 as the day for defending Reko Dik, Gwadar and the honor of Balochistan.

Raisani urged the party workers to gather a larger number of voters at polling stations so that BNP could claim victory.
