ISLAMABAD:
Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industries (ICSTSI) on Saturday said the elements opposing tax amnesty scheme are enemies of Pakistan. “An extension in the deadline of this scheme will help country raise billions of dollars which are badly needed to keep the country afloat,” it said. The extension is only possible through a presidential ordinance as the caretaker setup is in no mood to exceed its mandate, said ICSTSI Patron Shahid Rasheed Butt in a statement. He said PML-N government left the implementation on the caretakers who are managing it well. “It must be realised that court issues kept people undecided about the scheme,” he added.
