RPOs, DPOs and govt officials transferred

RPO Malakand, Hazara, Mardan Bannu and DI Khan are transferred

PESHAWAR: Provincial Police Officer Muhammad Tahir on Friday ordered the transfers and postings of the Regional Police Officers (RPOs) and District Police Officers (DPOs) as per the directives of the Election Commission of Pakistan.

RPO Malakand, Hazara, Mardan Bannu and DI Khan were transferred. Similarly, DPOs of almost all the districts were also transferred along with a few other SP rank police officials.



“The Election Commission has ordered that all the Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Regional Police Officers, District Police Officers as well as Assistant Commissioners be transferred immediately. Earlier all the IGPs and Chief Commissioners were transferred too,” said a police officer while speaking to The Express Tribune.
