FAISALABAD: Fortunately, Pakistan is not only among the takers but is often a giver. Pakistani scholarships have been awarded to over 300 Sri Lankan students. The scholarship titled ‘Jinnah scholarship’ was initiated in 2006 and since then has benefited over 1,800 students from Sri Lanka.
At a time when Pakistani students are struggling hard to secure scholarships from Western states, students seeking scholarships from Pakitan is indeed an admirable fact. Although there’s much that still needs to be done to bring the required change and reform, the education system here, with which it can be ascertained that more and more students will come to Pakistan to receive higher education.
