Maryam Nawaz’s nomination papers reveal assets worth millions

Maryam Nawaz, daughter of deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif, owns assets worth millions as per declarations made in her nomination papers.

Details of assets held by the former premier's daughter have surfaced following the scrutiny and nomination submission phase of the upcoming general elections. According to the asset details provided, the former first daughter has shares in Nawaz-Chaudhry Sugar Mills, Hudaibiya Engineering Private Limited, Hamza Spinning Mills, Mohammad Bakhsh Textile Mills and five other entrepreneurial concerns.

Maryam also owns 1506 kanals of land and investments worth Rs34.62 million for construction of the family flour mill. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader also lent Rs7 million to Soft Energy Private Limited and has received gifts worth Rs4.92 million. Net worth of her jewelry is 1.7 million while she owes brother Hassan Nawaz Rs 2.98 million.

An addition of 548 canals of land has been made to her agricultural land over the past three years.
