Beggar manages to board Iran-bound flight under 'mysterious circumstances'
Passengers give 'Iranian national' money after he starts begging on board
A bizarre video showing a man begging on board an Iran-bound flight from Qatar went viral on the social media on Tuesday.
Sources at Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) have quashed the rumours that the “beggar” was a Pakistani citizen.
They said the video featuring the beggar on the Qatar Airways flight has nothing to do with Pakistan, adding that the video had been shot on a flight from Doha to Shiraz and not anywhere in Pakistan.
Earlier, social media users speculated that the incident had taken place on a Bangkok-bound flight at Karachi airport.
They wondered how the “beggar” had managed to book the flight.
In the video, the person can be seen begging as an air hostess tries to stop him. Soon she is joined by a male crew member who tries to talk the man out of “begging”.
In the meantime, some passengers gave out some money to the “beggar”.

It is still not clear how the “beggar” was able to purchase the expensive air ticket for “begging” on board the flight.
Back on January 4, a passenger had startled fellow travellers by forcing his way out through the emergency exit after getting fed up of waiting to disembark his flight from the UK to Spain.
The man, reportedly a 57-year-old Polish national, tried to get off through the wing of flight FR8164 along with his hand luggage while the plane stood on the runway at Malaga airport.
The ground staff eventually convinced him to get back on board, where he was held until the local police arrested him.
