The extended Eidul Fitr holidays allowed people to seek entertainment outdoors. The Peshawar Zoo, which had opened its doors earlier this year, was a popular haunt.
The 29-acre facility, built at a cost of Rs0.27 billion, had enough space to accommodate the visitors.
Lahore Zoo animals to enjoy cool drizzle in scorching heat
Children and youngsters could be seen thronging cages of different animals, reptiles and birds. The cages of tigers, lions, pheasants, deer, monkeys, cranes, snakes, camels, and parrots proved to be the popular attraction.
Three different types of snakes received a tremendous response from the audience.
Children also kept asking questions about the habitats and food that the animals eat from the wildlife experts and managers of the zoo.
