Party members had expressed concerns over the previous list
After reservations being expressed on the priority list for women, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman has decided to prepare the list himself.

According to Express News, Imran reviewed the priority list after PTI workers complained that the names included in the list were undeserving while those forwarded by regional presidents were ignored.
The inquiry revealed merit in the complaints. Imran also discovered that the list was made in haste.
During the party meeting, Shireen Mazari and Manzah Hasan, who helped draft the list, received criticism. Mazari, however, denied involvement in preparing the list while Manzah and Aliya Hamza asserted that the list was prepared using names provided by regional presidents.
Consequently, Imran reported took the task of preparing the list himself and directed party lawyer Babar Awan to review legal process for resubmission of the priority list.
