Fear spread among people as a 4.8 magnitude earthquake jolted different cities of Punjab province on Sunday.
The tremors were felt in Lahore, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Faisalabad, Sahewal, Bahawalpur, Dajal, Khanewal and other surrounding areas, Express News reported.
Second earthquake jolts parts of K-P, Punjab
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the epicentre of the quake was 12 kilometres beneath the ground.
Following the tremors, people came out of their homes. However, no loss of life or property was reported from anywhere throughout the province.
Last month, a 6.4 magnitude earthquake jolted parts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.
The tremors were felt in Lahore, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Faisalabad, Sahewal, Bahawalpur, Dajal, Khanewal and other surrounding areas, Express News reported.
