London police on Saturday arrested a man and started interrogating him after he tried entering Kulsoom Nawaz’s hospital room discreetly, reported Express News.
The man has been identified as Naveed Farooq.
According to reports, security personnel posted at the hospital foiled Farooq’s attempt to enter her room.
Hussain Nawaz relayed that a person tried to enter his mother’s room after duping the security guards.
“Family is quite disturbed and such people are contributing to the stress,” he said.
“A suspicious person tried entering Kulsoom Nawaz’s room without permission,” Nawaz added. “Security pulled out the person from her room.”
Deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s wife was shifted to the intensive care unit of a London hospital on June 14 after her health deteriorated.
“Ami had a sudden cardiac arrest this morning when we were on the flight and (has been) on the ventilator since,” Maryam Nawaz wrote on Twitter. She requested well-wishers to pray for her mother’s health.
Maryam also appealed to the nation to pray for his mother’s speedy recovery. The former first lady is said to have not regained consciousness since.
