Sino-Pak Ties: Seminar held to highlight friendship
The speakers appreciated the help extended by China in agriculture, mining and other sectors.

A seminar was held in Quetta on Saturday to highlight the importance of Pak-China friendship. The seminar was organised by the provincial Directorate of Culture. It was attended by Balochistan Minister for Sports Mir Shahnawaz Marri, senior journalist and founding chairman Pak-China Friendship Society Syed Faseeh Iqbal, among others. Speaking on the occasion, Marri said that China was helping Pakistan in agriculture, mining and other sectors. He further said that it was China which constructed the Karakorum Highway. Syed Iqbal said China had a rich culture and a strong economy. He added that Muslims of the Chinese province of Sankiang spoke a language which included words of Arabic and Pashto languages.
