Hussain Nawaz also appealed to the nation to pray for his mother’s speedy recovery. Kulsoom was taken to the facility on Wednesday after her health deteriorated. The former first lady is said to have not regained consciousness since. Kulsoom was shifted to the ICU after she suffered a cardiac arrest on Thursday.

Nawaz and daughter Maryam left for London early on Thursday to visit Kulsoom who has been undergoing cancer treatment in London. They are expected to spend Eid holidays with Kulsoom and other family members in the city.
