National Foods Limited upped the ante this year with their Ramazan campaign on the MadeEasy platform. Nine scrumptious and easy-to-cook Ramazan recipes were created by the Masterchef Pakistan winner, Chef Ammara and were captured beautifully by still photography expert, S.M. Shuja
You can watch all the MadeEasy recipes on the official page or download their app on iOS or Android.
They also partnered with the Facebook group Karachi Chefs at Home (KCH) for an exciting competition where participants recreated recipes from the MadeEasy platform. More than 100 entries were received for the competition and five lucky winners with the best recipes won amazing prizes and tickets to National Food’s Grand Iftar event.
The Grand Iftar was the grand finale of the MadeEasy campaign in which the brand brought together 350 ladies to celebrate the success of #RamazanMadeEasy campaign. Additionally, it demonstrated how it adds ease and convenience to their everyday cooking experience and inspires new traditions.
Hosted by Saba Mohsin (the brain behind KCH), the event started off with a fun-filled activity called ‘Find Your Foodie Partner’. Everyone was given a chit with popular food combinations like biryani and raita, pakoray and ketchup, custard and strawberry etc.

The fun began when the person with the pakoray chit had to find people with ketchup and custard chits had to match with strawberry. The activity was a lovely spin on ‘Find Your Partner’ and did a fabulous job of breaking the ice between attendees.
This was followed by a live cook-off between three people from the audience where they had to recreate a recipe from MadeEasy on the spot. Chef Ammara tasted each dish and picked the best one as the winner.
While this competition was going on, Saba went to every table and had a fun little cooking trivia to keep the audience entertained. Whoever answered the questions correctly took home a Made Easy branded chopping board as a trophy.
Needless to say, the event’s fun element was on point and our favourite was the photo booth and selfie mirror which made everyone fully indulge in their love of selfies without getting photobombed.
The event concluded with a lavish dinner offering a buffet of Pakistani delicacies that ranged from chapli kebabs to korma to biryani to dynamite prawns – it was absolutely delicious.
Kuddos to National Foods for pulling off a successful Ramazan campaign yet again. They have raised the bar this time and we cannot wait to see how bigger and better MadeEasy will get next year.
