Singer Ariana Grande and her boyfriend Pete Davidson have decided to take their relationship to the next level and gotten engaged after just one month of dating, reported People magazine.
A source close to the couple revealed that the engagement is a recent development. "They’re just two people who found love quickly and make each other happy all the time. They both started talking about it this past weekend. It’s nothing they’ve been hiding," it said.

Ariana and Pete were reportedly telling people about the engagement at Robert Pattinson’s birthday party in Los Angeles on Saturday. Although the couple has been criticised for moving too fast, the duo seemed visibly in love.
The A-list couple also attended Kanye West and Kid Cudi’s “Kids See Ghosts” album listening party in Santa Clarita last Thursday, where a talk show caught Ariana by surprise with a spontaneous interview. For a brief moment, the Side to Side hit maker covers her face with her hands, revealing a diamond ring on her ring finger. Once reports of an engagement began to circulate, fans wondered if this was perhaps Ariana's engagement ring from Pete.

The two originally met on the set of Saturday Night Live (SNL) in 2016, when Ariana was hosting. Both had just gotten out of long-term relationships at the time.
Last month, Ariana parted ways with rapper Mac Miller after two years of dating. Around the same time, Pete confirmed his breakup from writer Cazzie David, also after two years of dating.
The pair bonded over their shared love of Harry Potter and made their relationship official by sharing a photo of themselves in Hogwarts attire on Instagram. Since then, they have been posting videos and pictures together, and leaving adorable comments on each other’s posts.

At the beginning of this month, Pete also got two Ariana-inspired tattoos. Fans have speculated that the two might have matching cloud tattoos on their middle fingers as well, though this has not been confirmed.
