Workers actual asset of party: PPP

Jattak says comrades of late Zulfikar Bhutto are scared of no one

QUETTA: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Balochistan Chapter President Ali Madad Jattak has said that PPP is not just a party, rather a tale of courage and determination, which every politician should go through.

“Workers are the actual asset of the party. They are those who walk up the gallows steps to defend democracy,” said Jattak while addressing the workers in Quetta on Saturday.

The PPP Balochistan chapter president said, “The history of PPP is filled with sacrifices. However, facing despotism is included in the PPP’s manifesto.”



He said, “The PPP believes in politics of service irrespective of colour and creed-based discriminations. PPP has given utmost sacrifices for the revival of democracy in the country.”

He said that the activities of the party in Balochistan had confused the rival parties. He said, “We are the comrades of late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and we neither get scared nor bow in front of anyone [except Allah].” He said the names of candidates for the general elections had been finalised and would be disclosed in a few days. He urged the party workers to step up their activities so that the “sun of July 25 rises with the victory of PPP”.
