Engro Elengy Terminal Limited (EETPL) has said that it will extend all possible cooperation to regulatory and relevant government agencies for information requested pertaining to NAB’s inquiry into a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal contract. “The company has always acted, and continues to act, in a fair and transparent manner in all its business and commercial commitments,” Engro said in a statement. To date, according to the company, the terminal has handled more than 160 LNG carriers in approximately three years, saving in excess of $3 billion for the country. On a daily basis, Engro’s LNG terminal provides 600 million cubic feet, representing nearly 15% of the country’s gas requirement and helping spur the economy.
