ISLAMABAD: Police have hauled in 36 supporters of Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) on sedition charges. The PTM supporters were staging a protest on Monday in front of the National Press Clun against the killings in South Waziristan’s main town Wana on Sunday. Police say the action was taken because the protesters were chanting slogans and making speeches against the government and the armed forces and there was a threat to public peace and tranquillity.
