Five building dept officials booked
Police registers case against five officers and contractor of Punjab building department
SARGODHA:
On the directives of the anti-corruption establishment regional director, police have registered a case against five officers and a contractor of the Punjab building department allegedly involved in corruption. ACE authorities said on Tuesday that complainant Amir Mushtaq alleged in his application to the ACE Regional Director Asim Raza that government contractor Tahir Khan ,in connivance with of SDOs Muhammad Riaz, Raja Zawarul Haq and Sub-Engineers Manzoor Elahi, Munir Ahmad and Farhan Shahid of the Punjab building department had caused losses to the national exchequer worth millions of rupees by using defective materials while constructing the Kot Momin police station.
