LHC acquits man convicted of stabbing young college student 23 times in Lahore
Following the verdict, famous personalities such as Mahira Khan, Mawra Hocane, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Jibran Nasir and others have come forward to support Siddiqui.
Demanding #JusticeForKhadija, Mahira called for unity against the horrific crime.
And if it is the game of power, then so be it. Because there is nothing more powerful than when people come together united for a cause against those in power. We are with you @khadeeeej751 #justiceforkhadija

An avid PTI supporter and actor Hamza Ali Abbasi vowed to leave no stone unturned until justice is served.
WHAT THE HELL? I am hearing that attacker of #KhadijaSiddiqi who stabbed her 24 times has been acquitted by Lahore High Court???? If this is true, then we must all unite & be Khadija's voice & leave no stone unturned to get her justice against this barbarian! #WeAreWithKhadija pic.twitter.com/BimkvEK8Z5

Activist Jibran Nasir shamed the verdict and wrote:
Attacker of #KhadijaSiddiqi who stabbed her 24 times has been acquitted by Lahore High Court. Is this what our justice system has come down to. First under CJP Nisar's general order security was withdrawn from @khadeeeej751 and now her attacker has been set free. Shame pic.twitter.com/L4lAzlVacz

The Sammi starlet, Mawra, called the decision biased and unfair.
High court decision in #KhadijaSiddiqi Case is ridiculous. It’s outright biased/unfair verdict. Is stabbing someone 23 times not enough to amount for a punishment or is it power over justice ? #KhadijaSiddiqiCase #westandwithKhadija

Osman Khalid Butt apologised to Siddiqui on the failed judiciary system of the country.
I cannot believe Shah Hussain - who, to recap, stabbed his classmate Khadija 23 times in May 2016 - has been acquitted. Khadija is right: justice butchered. I'm so sorry this country failed you. https://t.co/neK3lV7cpg

A seven-year sentence for attempted murder - reduced to five years - reduced to nothing. This is how we value a woman seeking justice with proof (multiple eye-witnesses, DNA match) - the message is loud and clear. She is reduced to nothing. #JusticeForKhadija

'Khadija Siddiqui ke saath jo aaj hua hai woh Pakistan ke liye sharmindagi ki baat hai. Us bachi ki himmat to qaim hai, kisi aur ki himmat na toot jaye. Khudaara, adalaton ka notice lijiye.' - Jibran Nasir.

US comedian, Jeremy McLellen asked to support the 24-year-old and her counsel after the unjust verdict.
Shah Hussain, who was found guilty last year of brutally stabbing @khadeeeej751 23 times, has just been acquitted by the Lahore High Court. Shameful day for Pakistan. Ali Gul Pir called out the double standards by the legal system.
Will put you in jail for double sawari but stab someone 23 times and you can go home with daddy #PakistanLaw #JusticeForKhadija #WeareWithKhadija

Siddiqui's head counsel, Hassan Niazi shared a picture of her, ready for the next battle.
Khadija right now. All pumped to fight the next battle. Supreme Court we are coming.

The accused, Shah Hussain, who is the son of lawyer Tanvir Hashmi, was arrested and shifted to jail last year for allegedly stabbing Khadija in 2016.
Khadija, a law student, petitioned the court that Shah had stabbed her 23 times.
