The Lahore High Court on Monday acquitted the man accused in the Khadija stabbing case

The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday acquitted the man accused in 24-year-old Khadija Siddiqui's stabbing case, a year after a judicial magistrate had sentenced him to seven years in prison.

Following the verdict, famous personalities such as Mahira Khan, Mawra Hocane, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Jibran Nasir and others have come forward to support Siddiqui.

Demanding #JusticeForKhadija, Mahira called for unity against the horrific crime.



An avid PTI supporter and actor Hamza Ali Abbasi vowed to leave no stone unturned until justice is served.



Activist Jibran Nasir shamed the verdict and wrote:



The Sammi starlet, Mawra, called the decision biased and unfair.



Osman Khalid Butt apologised to Siddiqui on the failed judiciary system of the country.







Armeena Rana Khan called Siddiqui a walking miracle.

US comedian, Jeremy McLellen asked to support the 24-year-old and her counsel after the unjust verdict.



Ali Gul Pir called out the double standards by the legal system.



Siddiqui's head counsel, Hassan Niazi shared a picture of her, ready for the next battle.



The accused, Shah Hussain, who is the son of lawyer Tanvir Hashmi, was arrested and shifted to jail last year for allegedly stabbing Khadija in 2016.

Khadija, a law student, petitioned the court that Shah had stabbed her 23 times.
