Tragic incident: Truck driver shot dead

Abu Sufiyan was driving a dumper truck loaded with crushed stones

FAISALABAD: Robbers shot and killed a dumper truck driver for showing resistance during a robbery on Monday. The police said that Abu Sufiyan, 35, a resident of Bukhari Town, Chiniot was driving a dumper truck loaded with crushed stones when unidentified persons intercepted the truck near Chak No18-JB. The culprits tried to snatch the vehicle and loot the driver. However, the outlaws shot at and killed Abu Sufiyan when he resisted their attempt. The police have started investigations.
