With the record-breaking debut of Avengers:Infinity War and recent premiere of Deadpool 2, the summer film season is already off to a great start. However, this is just the beginning. From horror to comedy, here is a list of six films that will cater to everyone's needs this June compiled from The Indian Express.
1. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is the sequel to 2015’s Jurassic World which became one of the highest-grossing movies of all time. Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, BD Wong and Jeff Goldblum reprise their roles from previous films in the series with actors such as Ted Levine and James Cromwell joining the cast. The film is set for release on June 15, 2018.
2. Incredibles 2
Incredibles 2 resumes where its prequel The Incredibles ended with - the introduction of new villain, The Underminer. Elastigirl, voiced by Bollywood actor Kajol, is seen fighting crime with her super-stretching abilities while Mr Incredible stays at home to care for Violet and Dash. Incredibles 2 also releases on June 15, 2018.
3. Ocean’s 8
Ocean’s 8 is a spin-off of Steven Sodherberg’s Ocean’s trilogy and stars Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway and Rihanna among others. The plot follows a group of women, led by Danny Ocean’s estranged sister, who plan on robbing New York’s Met Gala. This is yet another release for June 15, 2018.

4. Hereditary
A supernatural horror film, Hereditary follows a family that starts being haunted after the death of their grandmother. The film has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has received highly positive reviews. It stars Toni Collette, Alex Wolff, Milly Shapiro, Ann Dowd, and Gabriel Byrne and is written and directed by Ari Aster, in his feature directorial debut. Hereditary releases on June 22, 2018.
5. Race 3
Race 3 is Salman Khan’s latest offering after Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which has been one of the top grosser films in Pakistan. The film stars Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Farnandez and Bobby Deol among others.
This film is the third installment of the Race franchise and follows the story of a landowner who is sabotaged by a criminal. As of now, it holds the number one spot on IMDb’s Most Anticipated Indian Movies and Shows. Race 3 is slated for release on June 29, 2018.
6. Sanju
A biographical film based on the life of Indian actor, Sanjay Dutt, Sanju follows Dutt’s life through his drug addiction, many love affairs and life in jail. Ranbir Kapoor features in the lead role as Dutt alongside Sonam Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. The much anticipated film is also set to release on June 29, 2018.
