Reham Khan is another one to walk along the same lines
ISLAMABAD: It is an irony how personal relationships and matters pertaining to personal life have always been an important factor in Pakistani politicians’ careers. Regardless of their nature and context, lives of political figures here never remain low key. Then there is the fact that often spouses of these politicians too themselves jump on the bandwagon and try to exploit the situation for their own benefit. A case in point is that of Ayesha Ahad, the alleged wife of Hamza Shehbaz, the son of former chief minister of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif. It’s only around the time of the elections or with the coming of an important situation in Hamza Shehbaz’s less-than-established political career that Ayesha Ahad starts crying over her allegedly long-unheard case. Reham Khan, PTI chairman Imran Khan’s former wife, is another one to walk along the same lines. Her book, most of which revolves around Imran and her married life,
h as come just in time. And as expected, she has been referred to as a pawn for the PML-N’s political ploy against the PTI.
