Boxing: Khan disapproves of Haye’s conduct

LONDON: WBA World super lightweight champion Amir Khan has urged David Haye to stop disrespecting Wladimir Klitschko ahead of their world heavyweight title encounter later this year. Khan, who is a fan of Haye, admits he was disappointed to watch his compatriot in the build-up to the July 2 bout. Haye has repeatedly refused to shake Klitschko’s hand, preferring instead to belittle the Ukrainian’s ability as a boxer. “I would never do that,” said Khan. “I have always tried to be respectful to my opponents.”
