Protesters say political administration failed to provide security to people

MIRANSHAH: A fresh protest erupted in North Waziristan’s Mir Ali on Saturday against the killing of political muharrar Hamidullah Khan.

Staged by Waziristan’s youth, the demonstration sought a thorough inquiry into the death of the political administration official. The sit-in continued until late Saturday night.

The protest came days after youth staged sit-in after two tribesmen were killed in targeted attacks. The demonstrators had withdrawn after political administration guaranteed security measures. However, the youth of Waziristan claim that the administration had failed to fulfil its promise.
