Eight killed, 548 injured in accidents

Victims who sustained minor injuries were discharged on spot after being provided first aid by emergency medical teams

LAHORE: At least eight people were killed while 548 were injured in 832 road traffic crashes across the province over the past 24 hours.

However, 391 victims who sustained minor injuries were discharged on the spot after being provided first aid by emergency medical teams.

Data showed that 418 drivers, 16 underage drivers, 114 pedestrians and 415 passengers were among the victims.
