National Book Foundation: Managing director’s contract extended

The ED has announced some more transfers and appointments of secretariat and district management groups.

ISLAMABAD: The government has extended National Book Foundation Managing Director Mazharul Islam’s contract for one year, said a notification issued by the Establishment Division (ED). The ED has announced some more transfers and appointments of secretariat and district management groups. National Counter-Terrorism Authority Director General Syed Asif Akhtar has been transferred and posted on deputation at the National School of Public Policy. Joint Secretary Minister of Petroleum and Natural Resources Tahir Sarfaraz has been asked to report to the ED. National Tariff Commission Director-general Ali Mohammed Shah has been transferred to the Ministry of Commerce on deputation. In Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Nasir Azam Khan of Secretariat Group has been asked to report to the ED whereas Waqas Alam, officer of the District Management Group has been transferred from Balochistan to Punjab, the notification said.
