Kareena Kapoor Khan, who will soon be seen alongside Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania in Veere Di Wedding, says she is not a feminist and believes in equality.

At the music launch of the film, Kareena was asked about her idea of feminism, to which she promptly responded, “I believe in equality. I wouldn’t say I am a feminist, I would say I am a woman and above all, I am a human being. I am also as proud to be known as Saif Ali Khan’s wife, as I am to be Kareena Kapoor. So that is just the way I am.”

4 major takeaways from the trailer of 'Veere Di Wedding'

And we're just a tad bit confused, like the rest of the world. The Omkara actor has been mercilessly trolled on Twitter over head-scratching comments.

Dr. Asad Sadick, Germany | 5 years ago | Reply When Kareena Kapoor says she believes in equality is really understandable. Man and Woman are biologically and mentally not equal and it is good so. She surely means that inspiten of these differences one should strive forn equality in other spheres, like being partners in a marriage, professionally equal and opinion wise as important as their male couterparts. So whats the big deal. Its time we men got emancipated.
