KARACHI: Giving a verdict against the appointment of school headmasters across Sindh, the Sindh High Court (SHC) directed the chief secretary to complete investigation in 30 days and submit a report within 30 days to the member-inspection-team. The hearing of the plea against the appointment of school headmasters in Sindh was held before a two-member bench. The court directed that it should be mentioned in the investigation whether the appointments were made in accordance with the rules and regulations. The SHC ordered questioned whether the appointments of headmasters made without the exam of the Sindh Public Service Commission were legal. The petition maintained that if the appointments weren't in accordance with the law, all 1,080 appointments should be annulled. In 2015, the Sindh government appointed 1,080 headmasters who had not appeared for the Sindh Public Service Commission exam.
