Tax bracket : The rich should be taxed more: analyst

Ali Nasir said more taxes must be imposed on the rich who manage to exempt themselves from paying taxes

ISLAMABAD: The rich are becoming richer, while the poor are becoming poorer, and more taxes must be imposed on the rich who manage to exempt themselves from paying taxes, according to financial analyst Ali Nasir.   Talking to a news channel on Wednesday, Nasir said it was extremely encouraging that the International Monitory Fund (IMF) had agreed on granting promised assistance under 2008 standstill arrangements, before the upcoming budget this year.
