One person was killed in the ongoing clashes between police and an angry mob in Quetta.

The fighting erupted as angry mobs took to streets in Quetta against the arrest of five people including two BNP leaders.

The five had been arrested in connection with the killing of four police officials.

Protestors burnt tyres, chanting slogans against police raids. They blocked Quetta Double road as police resorted on tear gas and aerial firing to disperse the raging crowd.

Shops remained closed in the city in the resutling clashes. Edhi sources have reported one injured in the ensuing fight.
