The suicide bomber was reportedly the one killed. Five Frontier Corps (FC) officials and six civilians are among the injured, according to police.
Investigators from the intelligence agencies revealed that six people were travelling in the vehicle which was targeted.

The outlawed Jamatul Ahrar (JuA) faction of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack and released purported images of the bomber.
The bomber has been identified as Roohul Ameen, alias Qari Usman, who was said to be in his early teens.
The TTP-JuA claimed that the attack is part of operation Ibn Qasim and that more such attacks would be carried out in the future.
District Police Officer Nadeem Bukhari, speaking to The Express Tribune, confirmed the casualty count. The attack occurred near the hometown of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak.
