Sindh govt to fund Bin Qasim SEZ
'New industries will play a major role in economic development of the country', Abdul Azeem Uqaili said
KARACHI:
Sindh Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Authority CEO Abdul Azeem Uqaili said that on-going industrial projects in Bin Qasim Industrial Park with over Rs30 billion worth will be facilitated fully by the Sindh government. While presiding over a meeting with industrialists and top management of K-Electric (KE), SSGC, Zone Developer and other stakeholders, he said that SEZ Authority, Sindh is committed to resolving the issues of investors on a priority basis.
He added that these new industries will play a major role in economic development of the country. KE Head of Distribution Amer Zia assured that the company will extend all possible support. The representatives of SSGC assured the provision of gas to all ongoing projects. A proposed way forward recommended by SEZ Authority Sindh has been agreed upon by all stakeholders in the meeting.
