Pakistan, Turkey unite over Gaza violence

Both countries seek to increase pressure on Israel and US

KARACHI: Pakistan and Turkey, at the time of American embassy’s inauguration in Jerusalem, have agreed to raise the matter of Palestinians’ killings due to Israeli aggression at the United Nations and all international forums.

To attain cooperation of Islamic countries on this matter, OIC’s meeting will be hosted by Turkey on May 18, where strategic plans in this regard will be decided by the member countries. Over the course of the conference, both Pakistan and Turkey will try to urge the Islamic states to strongly condemn this tragedy and craft a strategy to find a peaceful way of resolving the Israel-Palestine conflict.

According to a diplomatic source, this incident has been discussed between Pakistan and Turkey’s prime ministers and both the countries will soon make diplomatic contact with all the key countries over the matter. The two countries along with the international community will seek to increase pressure on Israel and US by using OIC’s platform to ensure a peaceful future.

Qasim | 5 years ago | Reply We muslim countries should start a campaign for financial boycott of both Israel and USA. If all of muslim countries boycott them and retrieve all money from their banks that would bring them back on feet if not on knees.
