Pakistan reached the final of the 2018 Street Child World Cup as they defeated Indonesia 5-4 on penalties in Moscow, Russia on Monday.
By qualifying for the final, they have confirmed a silver medal and their best-ever finish at the event.
Pakistan reached the semi-final by defeating Tajikistan 2-0 in the quarter-final on Sunday.
The tournament is featuring 12 teams in the boys’ event. Earlier, Pakistan defeated Russia 3-1 after they had kicked off their campaign with a goalless draw against Uzbekistan.
The tournament has come full circle for the Boys in Green as they take on Uzbekistan in the final, with the Uzbek team having defeated Burundi 1-0 in the other semi-final.
