It's just a little longer until we can witness her choice of attire for the big event but until then, let's take a look at the outfits she has opted for during her time in the French Riveria.
Mahira will be making her Cannes debut as a spokesperson for L’Oreal Paris.
For her first look the 7 Din Mohobbat In star chose an Elan ensemble consisting of a grey crop top, matching pleated trousers and a navy floral kimono. She paired the outfit with strappy nude sandals.
Styled by Amar Faiz, the actor had her hair tied in a bun and accessorised with nothing other than a pair of Zohra Rahman earrings. Staying within nude tones, she kept her makeup to a minimum with bronzed skin, blushed cheeks and a peachy pout. This was definitely a look I think many will appreciate as it's simple yet oh-so-elegant.
Her second attire was from Solace London which she wore with black Louboutins. I think Faiz got it all wrong here with that bright yellow silk blouse paired with black culottes. And let's not even talk about that oversized white patent belt.

The black was probably a bad idea in all that heat and the silk, I'm sure, made matters even worse. Although I love how the top flows, Mahira seems like she is dressed for a more formal event.
Her makeup was pretty much the same but she let her hair down, unstyled this time, making the overall appearance a little more casual. Her earrings, however, were stunning and definitely added a little something to the otherwise basic outfit. Whether or not they go with this outfit, is a discussion for another day.
For me, this seems like a very confused look, what with contrasting colours and unsuitable fabrics for the weather. Let's hope she can live up to the majority's expectations when it comes to her Cannes red carpet debut.
