Water supply scheme inaugurated in Machh area

Minister for Finance Gello got scheme approved and provided Rs5 million fund for it

Union Council Vice Chairman Maulana Kher Muhammad Hasni on Saturday inaugurated the water supply scheme to deliver water from Old Machh to Killi brook Machh, an area where people are deprived of clean drinking water. The Ministry of Finance provided funds worth Rs5 million for the scheme.

“People of the area are using the brook water, which according to experts, is unfit for human consumption,” said the Union Council vice chairman during the inauguration ceremony. The PHI officials and tribal elders also attended the ceremony.

Hasni said, “For the provision of clean drinking water, we requested Minister for Finance Muhammad Asim Kurd Gello, who got the water supply scheme approved and provided funds for it.”

He said that the scheme would resolve a lot of problems being facing by the people of the area.

The UC vice chairman said, “After completion of the scheme, people of the area will get clean water to drink and this will resolve the basic issues of the people.”

On the occasion, special prayers were held and sweets were also distributed.
