UVAS ranked among emerging universities

QS Asia University Ranking attains position among 301-350 top Asian universities by Times Higher Education

LAHORE: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore has been ranked among 351+ universities in Times Higher Education (THE) Emerging Economies University Rankings 2018.

After qualifying in QS Asia University Ranking and attaining the position among 301-350 top Asian universities by Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Ranking 2018 it is another momentous achievement of the UVAS, Lahore.

Institutions from 50 countries, classified as emerging economies (advanced and secondary) or “frontier economies” were considered in the analysis. The ranking uses same 13 rigorous performance indicators as the THE World University Rankings, examining each university’s strengths against all of its core missions. However, the methodology has been carefully recalibrated to better reflect the characteristics and development priorities of the universities in emerging economies.
