Uncanny: John Wick director to make ‘Deadpool 2’
The video kicks off with Beckham sitting in a TV lounge watching a scene from Deadpool on repeat. In the scene, Deadpool mocks the footballer player's voice saying that he sounds like he messed with "a can of helium."
Deadpool then texts the sports superstar apologising for the act but the latter doesn't respond. The antihero then shows up at his door with a glass of milk and cookies as Beckham slams the door on his face.
He rings the doorbell again and shows up with helium ballons only to get the door slammed on his face again. The third time, he brings a Mexican marching band to Beckham's doorstep.
After apologising continuously, Deadpool dons a Canadian sports jersey and presents him with two passes to a 2018 FIFA World Cup match. Beckham then confesses that he can't stay mad at him and goes in for a hug.
He then asks Deadpool what he's been apologising for, to which he replies, "The bit in Deadpool with the voice."
Beckham says, "Doesn't ring a bell."
Deadpool then asks, "What do you think I was apologising for?"
To this, Beckham presents a list of Reynolds' film fails such as Green Lantern, RIPD and Boltneck. Reynolds becomes furious once again and screams at Beckham before he slamming the door and leaving.
'Deadpool' named world's highest-grossing R-rated movie ever
Guess this was another PR stunt to promote the upcoming Marvel film Deadpool 2, which is all set to hit theatres on May 18.
