CANNES: Actors Kangana Ranaut and Deepika Padukone are currently attending the 71st Cannes Film Festival. Both starlets opted for similar creations by ace designer Zuhair Murad. However, there's no gainsaying that both Bollywood beauties hit all the right notes and left us floored, indeed.

KANGANA RANAUT:

Kangana lived up to her 'bold and beautiful' image as she made her Cannes Film Festival debut in a sheer, fully embellished backless gown on Thursday. She walked the red carpet for the screening of Christophe Honore's French drama Plaire, aimer et courir vite.

The starlet's outfit complemented her slender frame and was the perfect mix of sensuality and romanticism.

Her hair was done in a messy bun, with minimalistic but dramatic eye makeup. In a teaser video shared by the Queen star's team on social media, Kangana is seen taking an effortless walk in the elaborate gown.

Deepika Padukone:

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone, who is the brand ambassador for L'Oreal Paris, was the epitome of elegance in a similar sheer white caped gown. Looking flawless, she chose to pair her dress with a nude lip. Smokey eyes added to the finishing touches.

Even the just married Sonam Kapoor will be completing eight years at Cannes and will attend the festival on May 14 and May 15.

Others stars including Mahira Khan, Julianne Moore, Helen Mirren & Doutzen Kroes will also be in attendance.
