American rapper Chris Brown has been accused of participating in a 2017 sexual assault case that occurred during a party at his house. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a lawsuit was filed by attorney Gloria Allred on behalf of her client who will be referred to as Jane Doe.

At a press conference held on May 9, Allred spoke of the incidents that led to the alleged assault. However, she did not delve into details due to the sensitive nature of the case. The attorney issued a warning to TV stations stating that she was unsure if the details of the people included in the lawsuit could be aired on screen.

"This is one of the most horrific sexual assault cases that I have ever seen and our client has been severely traumatised by what she was forced to suffer," said Allred.

A copy of the lawsuit was reviewed by Billboard and it mentioned that Doe had attended a concert in West Hollywood after which she was invited to a party. Brown and rapper Young Lo were working there when she arrived and her phone was allegedly taken away as Brown didn’t want any mobiles in the studio. Doe added that when she wanted to leave, her phone was not given back to her. She was then compelled to go to the Run It! singer’s house to retrieve it.

Doe claimed that when she reached Brown’s residence, alcohol and illicit drugs were served to all guests. She added that the rapper handed a pill filled with white powder to every female, including her, to “have a good time”. Doe refused to take and instead isolated herself from the crowd. She mentioned that she also saw multiple weapons in the house and was intimidated by the aggressive behaviour by the two rappers.

Doe's mother, who usually knows of her daughter’s whereabouts, grew worried and tracked her location. She then called the police to look for the daughter who showed up at the location. However, Brown refused to let them enter his property so they left and the party continued.

Doe claims that the rappers along with a female guest, referred to as Doe X, planned to "coerce and force women to perform sexual acts". They allegedly lured females into bedrooms and pressure them to engage in the activity.

While many participated, Doe refused to undress and made it clear that she was not interested. However, she stated that she was raped twice by Lo before she was allowed to leave. She then went to a rape treatment centre and also reported the incident to the police. Brown, Lo, Doe X and others have been accused of sexual battery, assault and a lot more.

Allred said, "Doe filed this lawsuit because she wants justice for herself but she also wants to warn other young women about the potential danger. She does not want any other woman to endure the violent sexual assaults that she was forced to endure in an environment of guns and drugs."
