Obituary: JUI-F member dies at 70

Former vice president of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Maulana Muhammad Murad Halejvi died at the age of 70.

SUKKUR: Religious scholar and vice president of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl) Sindh, Maulana Muhammad Murad Halejvi, died of heart failure on Monday. Halejvi was 70.

He was laid to rest in his native village near Pannu Aqil on Tuesday.

Among those who attended his funeral was Senator Khalid Mehmood Soomro.
