The Khoobsurat actor seemed happier than ever during the events but, as she's a fashion icon, all eyes were on her wardrobe. So let's have a look at the outfits Sonam picked out for, what was probably, the most important week of her life.
1. Mehndi
For her first event, the starlet chose an Anuradha Vakil attire to match her then hubby-to-be who was clad in salmon pink. As it was a very casual event, her outfit wasn't over the top.
She wore an off-white sleeveless kameez, lilac embellished izhaar and a coral coloured dupatta which she had wrapped around - keeping in with the pastels. The entire outfit was bordered with gold gota work, giving the otherwise modern outfit a traditional twist.
2. Sangeet
Clad in a breathtaking AbuJani Sandeep Khosla ensemble, Sonam stunned many in an ivory lehenga choli. She opted for kundan jewellery consisting of a heavy choker, jhumkas and maang teeka. The choli had intricate gold detailing while the lehenga and dupatta were self-printed, also bordered with gota.
3. Shaadi
Another Anuradha Vakil creation, Sonam’s wedding dress was magenta coloured adorned with gold embellishments. The Veere Di Wedding star went all out on her big day with a very conventional outfit and heavy, old-fashioned jewellery to keep in with the theme of her attire, including the traditional red bangles. Her makeup, on the other hand, was very minimal.
4. Reception
The actor pulled a Sonam at the final event wearing a funky Anamika Khanna ensemble. The grey lehenga choli was quite simple with hardly any ornamentation, but was still pretty ‘out there’ nonetheless. Sonam changed her makeup up a bit at the reception, going with red lips and dramatic eyes.
She kept her hair straight and a layered necklace was the only piece of jewellery she wore, complementing the whole look perfectly. While the zigzag print may be too much to handle for most, if there's anyone who can pull it off, it's Sonam.
