Arrest: One suspect held, claims official

Suspect allegedly involved in the assassination of the Saudi diplomat.

KARACHI:

An official told The Express Tribune that the law enforcement agencies arrested a man allegedly involved in the assassination of the Saudi diplomat.

The suspect, identified as Muntazir Imam alias Tunda is a resident of Shah Faisal Colony, was captured near Madinatul Imambargah near NIPA Chowrangi in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. He is also believed to have been associated with the banned Sipah-e-Mohammad Pakistan. The authorities have yet to confirm the arrest.
