Shehbaz Sharif demands end to Indian brutality in occupied Kashmir

Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Shehbaz Sharif on Monday said that the Indian army has crossed all limits of brutality and ferocity in occupied Kashmir and their operation need to end, reported Express News.

While expressing sorrow and grief over the death of a professor, students and various Kashmiri youth in the occupied valley, the CM paid tribute to their sacrifices.

“Even students are not safe from Indian terrorism in the valley,” he said.

Sharif further added that Kashmiris cannot be deprived of their rights and they are sacrificing their blood to gain freedom. He also added that Indian state terrorism cannot halt the freedom movement.

“Freedom was and is their right,” he added. “PML-N is stands together with Kashmiris.”

On Sunday, six more youth were martyred in an operation by the Indian troops in Badigam area of Shopian district in Indian Occupied Kashmir, bringing the death toll to 10 during the past 24 hours, reported Kashmir Media Service.

The youth were killed by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation, as well as during firing on peaceful protesters in the area.


The martyred were identified as Professor Muohammad Rafi Butt, Saddam Ahmad Paddar, Bilal Ahmad Mahand, Aadil Malik, Tausif Ahmad Sheikh and teenager Asif Ahmad Mir.
