Killer kite strings ends life of young biker in Rawalpindi

A 22-year old biker was killed when a kite string slit his throat. The youth identified as Adnan was going to Chakri on a motorbike on Saturday, when a kite string got entangled on his neck leaving him seriously injured.

People rushed the profusely bleeding victim to District Headquarters Hospital, but he could not survive. Kite flying has been banned in Rawalpindi, however, people allege that police tyrn blind eye to this lethal sport.

Only criminal elements were allegedly running the kite business as all traders have called it a day following ban and action by law enforcing agencies.
