‘Patrolling police should exhibit valour’

Says patrolling police is taking practical steps for the implementation of ‘Safe Road’ police

BAHAWALPUR: The patrolling police should work with dedication and valour to eliminate professional criminals and bring a significant change to the system, said Bahawalpur Patrolling SP Huma Naseem during a briefing.

In the past three months, we have strengthened the monitoring system by conducting surprise visits at check posts and by monitoring the performance of patrolling vehicle, she said while speaking to The Express Tribune.

In the past three months, during an operation against professional criminals, a total of 1,117 cases were registered, while 1,265 professional criminals were arrested. The patrolling police is taking practical steps for the implementation of ‘Safe Road’ police, she added.
