PESHAWAR: National Account-ability Bureau (NAB) Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday arrested a suspect Babar Zeb on charges of cheating public at large. Accused Babar Zeb along-with other co-accused persons enticed and motivated general public to invest their hard earned money in fraudulent Mudarba business. Due to attractive incentives, scores of innocent individuals invested in his Mudarba. At the end the accused neither handed over profit to investors nor did they return principle amount.

The Accountability Court declared the suspect a proclaimed offender in 2014. Zeb was finally arrested and will be produced before the Accountability Court for obtaining his physical remand. NAB K-P Director General Farmanullah Khan assured the people that the bureau will continue its efforts without any fear or favor and ensure the recovery of looted money from the culprits and return to its rightful owners.
