Man tries to assault minor

Little girl was lured to a construction site nearby under the pretence of buying her something from the store

LAHORE: A man was caught red-handed while he attempted to sexually assault a six-year-old girl in Shahdara on Tuesday. Details show that a six-year-old, henceforth referred to as R, a resident of Siraj Park, had wandered outside her home where she encountered the accused named Shahzad. He lured the little girl to a construction site nearby under the pretence of buying her something from the store, where he attempted to assault the child. Sensing danger, R protested and started to make a lot of noise which attracted the attention of those around the neighbourhood. Residents immediately seized Shahzad and beat him to a pulp. After they were satisfied, the residents then handed the accused over to the police who registered a case against him.
